ETC: i operate on pst (west coast holla), and work a pretty busy irl gig especially around deadline time (aka now). i generally try and get a round of tags out every few days unless they’re really chonky and require some thought and care (gomen about those obi-wan memes LMAOOo my daily mantra is apologizing for the slowness of those). feel free to add me over on plurk for any rp updates, musings, and plotting as that’s usually where i do the majority of it!

current leader of the guardians of the galaxy and former ravager, he was abducted from his home on earth at the tender age of 8 due to his celestial-human DNA. long story short, quill grew up learning how to swindle and steal, earning himself a pretty solid reputation as an intergalactic outlaw before experiencing the most meet-cute of meet-cutes with his current found family. this includes but is not limited to: jail-time, prison-breaks, a multiverse-ending event, five years of not existing, and then being brought back, teaming up with another set of superheroes, fighting a gigantic war; and then for quill specifically: losing the love of his life. he’s back now, and after finally defeating thanos and making sure something like that could never happen again, he’s … sort of lost and trying to dig himself out of both a guilt-spiral and a general ‘wow shit sucks, what’s next?’ spiral.

REGRET:

the way things went down on knowhere which resulted in thanos taking gamora away, and resulting in her death by thanos’ hand; whether he’ll share this with anyone remains to be seen but for now he’s keeping it pretty close to the vest.

GAME PLANS:

• getting into hijinks and shenanigans
• gonna need some tissues working through his issues, but no fr i would love for him to kind of work through all of the stuff he’s got stored up, and what better way to do that than with a bunch of other equally messed up individuals, right? getting a different perspective will always help tho
• making friends!!!! also collecting more found family because that is my ultimate jam, he can be the chaos uncle (thanks lena) or the big bro with bad advice (except for the few times when he has good advice)
• open for just about anything else sorry i’m unhelpful

retired former jedi general, suffering from all sorts of ptsd and grief, currently deep in hiding, only very recently reconnected himself to the Force, he will mostly be introducing himself to people as 'ben' to most people until he can get a better sense of the station and its crew. (although there are now a few more who will probably know his real name.)

REGRET:

anakin skywalker ... just kidding, well. sort of. it definitely has to do with not doing more to prevent anakin skywalker from going to the dark side though; it's a weight he carries with him for a decade-and-counting. nevermind that he’s here now ahahahaha ...

CR WISHLIST:

• still open for taking adoption papers

• make friends (he still has ... like, none of those anymore)

RECAP:

obi-wan had a strong start on ciraiwei, helping the Great Migration of the planet's people to a new location. here he started to open up again to the idea of being something of the heroic force (heh) that he once was, especially being surrounded by good influences that reminded him of the beliefs he used to hold so dear before his exile. just this past mission, he had the opportunity to share a little more about who he used to be with others in the crew ... though of course by no choice of his own. but it'll be a good step for him moving forward in a way that he might never experience even in his own canon.

also! i have some general permissions and a post (still in progress sorry asjlkjd;) for opt-out/jedi stuff in case there are any jedi-specific elements that you'd rather not interact with. (mostly it's any of the possible mind tricks/control stuff that may come into play at some point down the road.) which, you know, totally valid. please know i'll always reach out if/when a thread veers into the need for communication and please feel free to always come at me if you want to talk something out!
